One Sky: An Aaron Becker Board Book Video Premiere

I’ve been a huge fan of Aaron Becker’s for a very long time. That’s not particularly unique. Many of us are in the same boat. And sure, he has a Caldecott Honor under his belt for Journey (and its sequels are, in certain circles, utter obsessions for kids) but recently he’s been doing something with his art that almost interests me more.

Board books are typically simple affairs. So what happens when you use them to explore different kinds of light? What happens when the medium of the board book presents itself to you as a challenge?

Today, we premiere the book trailer for Aaron Becker’s upcoming board book title One Sky. As you’ll soon see, it is like nothing you’ve ever seen before, with a sumptuous trailer to match:
