Battle of the Publishing Bands
Out of the depths of my insanity I have conjured up a plan so crazy, so cunning, so absolutely RUTHLESS in its efficiency that the denizens of New York shall never see the like again.
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to The Battle of the Publishing Bands.
You see over the years I have noticed that certain publishers containing editors of children’s fiction have a tendency to create their own bands. And three in particular caught my eye. Now I have called upon the gods to bring these three bands together for the ultimate, the greatest, THE CONCERT OF A LIFETIME!!!!!

On Friday, October 15th, starting at 6:00 in the main branch of NYPL (42nd Street and 5th Avenue) we will see the ultimate rock concert featuring . . .
So come on out to see them play and to help us raise money for the library at our fundraising table.
WARNING: The library closes at 6PM so please arrive early so that you have no problems getting into the building!!! Also, please enter through the front doors of the building.
