Children’s Literary Salon: August 7th
Join a distinguished panel of two children’s book publishers who are breaking new ground and finding ways to use eBook technology in a children’s literary format. The panel will include Stephen Roxburgh of namelos as well as other publishers working in the field.The Children’s Literary Salon is a monthly gathering of adults who are fans of children’s literature. Professionals, librarians, authors, illustrators, publishers, booksellers, teachers, and anyone else interested in the field are welcome to attend our meetings. The Literary Salon provides free Advanced Readers galleys, a rotating series of talks with professionals in the field, and great conversation. This program is for adults only.
This event will be held in the Berger Forum on the second floor.

Oh boy, a literary salon! I was hoping you would use that name a long time ago, when we suggested it (we being TheInfomancer and myself, no?) and I am very happy to see it thus named.
To be honest, it was his suggestion to make the last word “salon”. We knew it couldn’t be a “cafe” but we were stumped for an alternative. All hail The Infomancer then!
This sounds like my cup of tea. I might be in the city on Saturday. Is there parking at the New York Public Library?
Nothing so simple. We’re right in the heart of midtown. If you can find street parking, great! Otherwise, you’re stuck using the $10+ per hour parking garages. My advice: Better take the subway, eh?
