Obama Becomes Our 44th President
First Good Masters, Sweet Ladies gets the Newbery.
Now Obama has swept the presidency.
I don’t mean to jump the gun here, but this is turning out to be a pretty good year, isn’t it?
Since I’ve been rendered near incoherent with joy, I’ll just leave it at that for today. Be warned that tomorrow I will make up for it with an overcompensation of wordiness.
Until then . . . . . wow. Wowie wow.

Whoooo Hooooo! The energy is way too high to sleep. We are history. So exciting!
Such a wonderful night, I could hardly sleep. Hard to get up and get on the road, but I’m so excited to go to work for our new pres.
It is a wonderful morning here–sunny, warm. Everyone I’ve seen is smiling so far, including my 9-year-old godson, who was most annoyed that he couldn’t vote for Obama himself.
We were at a loss for words today, too. But it didn’t stop us from posting about how we felt — with children’s books doing the talking for us:
