Talking ‘Bout My Generation: The Mathnet and Bloodhound Gang Connection
All righty, guys. This is huge news. HUGE! To anyone of my particular generation, that is. Wikipedia, as we all know, is not the most reliable source of information. I cannot imagine why anyone would be creative enough to lie about this amazing fact, however. Under the heading for author Sid Fleishman (The Whipping Boy, The White Elephant, that new Mark Twain bit of fabulousness, etc.) reads the following:
In addition to writing children’s books, Fleischman has done work for the Children’s Television Workshop, writing the Bloodhound Gang mysteries for 3-2-1 Contact as well as serving as a consultant for the Mathnet mysteries on Square One TV.
Sid Fleischman wrote The Bloodhound Gang segments. That just makes good sense. Ditto the Mathnet. Thanks to Dan McCoy for the link.

Oh wow! Could Sid be any cooler?! The Bloodhound Gang was an awesome show and 3-2-1 Contact taught me what ‘entropy’ was
This is my favorite fact of the day!

THAT IS SO COOL. One of my fellow librarians made an obscure MathNet reference the other day. I laughed hysterically and all the other librarians were confused.
Well I found the theme songs for both shows and put them on my latest podcast, y’know. So in case you’ve a hankering to hear ’em again . . .
