Happy Blogoversary, Oh Fuse of the Number Eight!
Zzzzzzzzzzzz
Psst.
Zzzzzzzzzzzz
I said, "Psst!"
And I said "zzzzzzzzz". Go away.
Don’t you know what day it is?
(cracks one bleary eye open)
Well?
It’s Thursday. Thursday is a day when I can sometimes sleep in because I’m working the evening shift at the library. As that seems to be the case I am currently attempting to sleep. So if you’ll excuse me . . .
Wait! It’s more than just Thursday! Don’t you remember?
(uh-oh) Uh… what is it? Some Canadian Thanksgiving or something? The day after Ash Wednesday?
(glowers)
No? Hm. It’s . . . . oh.
Oh dear.
IT’S MY FREAKIN’ BIRTHDAY AND YOU TOTALLY FORGOT ALL ABOUT IT . . .
Technically it’s the blog’s anniversary . . .
. . . AND HERE I AM SLAVING AWAY FOR YOU EVERY SECOND OF THE DAY AND WHAT DO YOU CARE?
Slaving?
EXACTLY. (muffles sobs)
Aw. Now see here, little buddy. I didn’t forget. It just slipped my mind a little. Let’s see, how old is the blog again?
(petulant) Two.
And what is the two year anniversary?
(momentarily baffled)
It’s cotton! So look what I got you!
Is that one of your husband’s undershirts that was just sitting on the bed?
A COTTON undershirt, sweetie pie. Let’s just see how it fits . . .
. . . . . . . . .
Perfect! Happy anniversary, little Fuseman. And a happy blogoversary to all you readers out there. It’s been quite a strange trip these last few years, but I couldn’t be happier. And that goes double for the Fuseman here.

Till next year!
(Thanks too to Carter Hasegawa who was good enough to remind me about this before Fuseman did.)

Happyhappy! (Now go back to sleep.)
Gave me a much-needed laugh this morning. Happy Anniversary!
Funny! Happy Blogoversary!
Happy blogiversary, to you and Fuseman. Wishing you many, many more.
Very cute. Happy blogoversary! Will that the be the word of the year for 2008?

Happy happy and celebrate big! What would Blogistan be without Fuse? Nothing, I tell ya. Nothing.
Happy Blogiversary, little Fuse! Here’s to many more! Cheers 🙂
H-h-h-h-happy blogoversary! (And many moooore!)
Now that was cute! Happy Bloggie-versary to YOU!
Don’t quit your day job, sis. No really. Don’t.
Happy Bloganniversary! Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s Fuse keeping us sane…or at least on top of the latest news and fun. Thanks!
Happy anniversary. Keep on blogging!
Happy Blogiversary!
YAY! Happy birthday, Fuse.
I adore you and your blog, but the picture following “petulant” is downright frightening.
Crud! I missed it yesterday! Forever appologies. One of these days I’ll actually make to a kidlit drink night and then it’s one on me (hopefully not literally). Now, remember the anniversary song from the Flintstones?
Oh, very well done. Happy Blogversary! (Really? Only two years?)
Has it really been only two years? It seems as if you’ve been with us for ages upon ages. Happy Blogiversary!
HEY! Happy Anni-blogo-versary! You and Laini started on almost the same day? That’s just too screwy to think about for too long! Anyhow, I hope you celebrated decadently 🙂
Be well,
Jim
