What I’m Reading Now: The Mysterious Edge of the Heroic World by E.L. Konigsburg
I miss this feature of my old blog. The constantly updated section discussing what I’m reading at any given moment. It was fun to update. So what I’ll do instead is make these little random postings relating the same information.
In the case of Konigsburg’s latest, I just picked it up on the ALA Convention floor. I’ve a rather tempestuous relationship with Ms. E.L. I don’t much care for books where kids speak like adults, so right there we’re on opposite sides of the fence. Thus far I’m 35 pages into the book and the adults themselves are a big focus of the story. Subject (me) is wary but willing.

I’d be interested to hear how it goes. I might be the only adult on earth who didn’t love “The View from Saturday” from here to Sunday, for that very reason.
I miss this feature of your old blog, too. I miss everything in the side bar, come to think of it: your favorite out-of-print books, the list of interesting blogs, etc.
Well, it’ll all come back someday. Don’t you worry your pretty little head about it.
