Press Release Fun: PEN World Voices Festival

It only comes but once a year, but it’s worth it.  Folks from all around the world, many of them children’s authors, speaking on a variety of hot topics.  Check ’em out and buy your tickets while they last!

Friday, May 4. A Literary Safari, with Debby Dahl Edwardson and writers from 14 countries.
Check-in begins at 6:30 p.m., readings from 7-9 p.m.

Westbeth Center for the Arts, Westbeth Gallery, 57 Bethune or 155 Bank.

Also, free, drop-in puppet making workshops with Processional Arts Workshop have already begun and will continue through May 2. Kids 10 and up are welcome if accompanied by an adult. Don’t miss the giant puppet processions on the High Line, April 30 and May 3-5, beginning with the Parade of Illuminations, Monday, April 30, at 7:30.
