From the Kidlit Drink Night Organizational Crew
This month, in lieu of our usual Kidlit Drink Night venue, we have been kindly invited to have our gathering at the Forbes Galleries by Mr. Forbes himself. Talk children’s books and take a gander at some of the original art on display for the new book Let’s Have a Bite! A Beastly Banquet in Rhyme by Robert L. Forbes.

Time: 6:30 – 8:30 pm (or later)
Where: at the Forbes Galleries, 60 5th Avenue (at 12th St.)
Bites and cocktails to be served!
Also on display will be Mr. Forbes’ collection of other drawings, illustrations, advertising, books and ephemera, created by Mr. Searle, who celebrated his 90th birthday this year. The collection covers Mr. Searle’s work from WW2 to the present.
