Video Sunday: Do you want the burrito or not?
Many videos. Many many. First up, the one I couldn’t embed. Through the process of growing copious amounts of facial hair around the mouth-like part of the face, author/illustrator Adam Rex has finished his fundraising for underfunding classrooms to the tune of a sweet $1,120. Now check out the video that goes along with his announcement.
You may wonder why I keep including Twilight links on this site since, ostensibly, it’s a series for teenage girls. Well, lately I’ve had more 10-year-olds in my library asking for Twilight (current count: 1,649 holds) than I could shake a stick at and I’d feel guilty if I didn’t make fun of the series once in a while. This is a great bit from a show on Current TV. It also happens to have a pretty eerie Robert Pattison lookalike. Y’know. If you’re into that kind of thing.

I got the link from Crooked House who says that it is by the Polyglot Puppet Theatre at the Sydney Opera House where children can attend two and a half hour building sessions for free. Those of you looking for a truly weird craft (and you’ve recently moved your library collection) might find it inspiring.
