Thoughts on the Newbery
Not mine. Monica Edinger is currently serving on the Newbery committee. As we speak she is deciding the fate of the 2008 Award. As she does so, read through this summary of her thoughts regarding the process. Monica is, at all times, eloquent and amazing. Her words are must reads for anyone thinking of someday serving.
