Picture This, A Day In December / Picture This, Freezing Cold Weather
Pictures are difficult to blog on this SLJ site. They convince the format that I’m using more characters than I am. So I’m just going to do an all-picture, all the time posting.
Ooo. Ooo, I love you Paper dodo. I love you, I do. Thank you bookshelves of doom (who also linked to The Guardian‘s summary of top 10 kickass heroines recently, so check it out).

Speaking of paper used in strange and unsettling ways, look at this somewhat amazing and mostly fascinating pop-up book lamp (via Boing Boing).
Mmm. And what should one wear while admiring your paper dodo and reading beneath your book lamp? Why The Longstockings had the answer recently with this library print doll dress.
Can anyone spot me a cool $225? I’m good for it?
And finally, when I have all these items and am bundled snug in my cozy little world, I’ll think about rolling bees in powdered sugar, and everything will be right as rain. Thanks to Neil Gaiman for that last one. It is weird, but it makes me happy.
