Dangerous Liberal Sympathies
If you are not a regular reader of The Colbert Report, then the following link might strike you as a touch odd. Perhaps I should explain the show first. Stephen Colbert is a fake pundit who mocks the right-wing talk show personalities by imitating them. Let’s see what his Wikipedia entry says.. ah… here we go: Since October 17, 2005, Colbert has hosted his own television show, The Colbert Report, a Daily Show spin-off which parodies the conventions of television news broadcasting,[9] particularly cable-personality political talk shows like The O’Reilly Factor and Scarborough Country.[29][2] Colbert hosts the show in-character as a blustery right-wing pundit, generally considered to be an extension of his character on The Daily Show. Conceived by co-creators Stewart, Colbert, and Ben Karlin in part as an opportunity to explore "the character-driven news," the series focuses less on the day-to-day news style of the Daily Show, instead frequently concentrating on the foibles of the host-character himself.
Now someone on the Colbert discussion boards has "fingered" author Jennifer Armstrong as a liberal who absolutely MUST go on The Colbert Report. I can’t help but agree. How cool would it be for Jennifer to go on there and take Colbert down? Ten to one he’d just end up fascinated with the Molasses Flood anyway.

I’ve always wondered why Colbert doesn’t do a piece on the most famous bear in New York City…. Pooh. You’d think he’d find something insidious in this obvious piece of pro-bear propaganda that teaches our children that they are cute and cuddly when, in fact, they are instead godless killing machines.
