Cover Reveal: The Alcatraz Escape by Jennifer Chambliss Bertman

February 9, 2018 by Betsy Bird   1 comments

Oh, the weather outside is frightful! Some of you are headed to Midwinter right now in the midst of horrible, terrible snows. I salute you, one and all.

To take your minds off your cancelled flights, let us pause a moment and consider Jennifer Chambliss Bertman’s clever and charming Book Scavenger series. When the folks at Henry Holt & Co. asked if I wanted to do a cover reveal I immediately said yes. They’re great books and these days it’s nice to celebrate something that’s a little great.

Here it is then, folks. No frills. No folderols. Just straight up fun writing for the kiddo set.

Thanks to Christy Ottaviano and the folks of H&H for the reveal.

[…] On May 1, 2018, the third book in the Book Scavenger series, The Alcatraz Escape, will be available in bookstores and libraries near you in the United States. Only two months away, can you believe it? And I have a special gift for you if you pre-order a copy of the book with a possible bonus item for schools. More info on that in a second, but first, here’s a look at the cover in case you haven’t seen it (which Betsy Bird was kind enough to reveal on her Fuse #8 blog): […]
