Books to Films – Coming Soon So Be Prepared!
The advantage of having a bookstore in the library is when it has a tendency towards brilliance. Take this recent list the employees of the Schwarzman Building of NYPL came up with. I can take no credit for this. It’s just smart stuff (and very useful for my ordering as well). With mild tweaks on my part:

I’m very wary of the Alexander movie. It’s hard to make a full length movie from a picture book and this one looks so far from the original story.
And sadly, Smekday aka Home got pushed back until March of 2015! My staff and I are all very excited about that one but we really wish they had used the amazing Bahni Turpin to voice J Lo-her audiobook narration is fantastic!
Oo. Good tip. I’ll have to check out that audiobook one of these days.
