As I mentioned yesterday to you, I’ve a new tumblr documenting the misidentification of MG as YA at http://kidnotyabook.tumblr.com/ And anyone who wants to send me examples to put there — please do!
Ed Spicer says
Monica,
You will be interested to know, perhaps, that when I clicked on your link on my classroom computer, my IP address was reported for attempting to view a site labeled as having, “mature/adult” content. It made me laugh. I lead the league, I think, in attempting to access forbidden sites (places like 100 Scope Notes, Read Roger, and Heavy Metal–have all reported my IP address from time to time). I’m bad, I know. Don’t know why Fuse 8 flies under the radar.
Monica Edinger says
Ha! We have a filter at school that occasionally blocks benign sites like mine. I seem to recall my educating alice was blocked at one point.
Elizabeth Bird says
I don’t know whether or not I should be pleased or offended that I make it past your school’s filters, Ed. Apparently I’ll have to up my nudity quota now.
