Saying Goodbye to Yet Another Legend: Jean Craighead George
It seems natural to mention at this time the passing of Jean Craighead George, surprisingly so soon after Maurice Sendak’s demise. I’m sure I surprise no one when I say that she will be appearing on this list of top Chapter Books. You may read her obituary in Publishers Weekly here.
