What Should I Review? You Decide.
It’s getting down to the wire. I’ve eighty-one books to review and only three days to do it. Long story short, it’s not gonna happen. So we’re reviving the old Vote For Your Favorite game. The rules are simple. This year I played it lazy and simply cut and pasted my To Review list from Goodreads here. There are eighty-two titles listed below. My request to you is to find the one book you would like me to review for 2011 and to tell me so in the comments. At midnight I close down the comments and will tally the end results.
In the past I used an online survey system for this poll, but I found that folks got a little overly enthusiastic with that kind of thing. So to avoid that you have only 24 hours to place one comment in this post. Do not email me your request, even if my comment feature isn’t working. I apologize, but this is the method I prefer and my email in-box is a bit full as it is.

Also remember that there may be a reason I didn’t review the book you have an eye on. I’m going to be perfectly honest in my review and if I hated it I will say so long and strong. Could just be that I loved it and didn’t have time for it though. To play it safe, I suggest selecting a book that you simply want another opinion on.
Thanks for helping me out! I’ve found time to review a lot of great books this way.
P.S. Those ratings next to each books are the cumulative Goodreads ratings and not my own.

About Betsy Bird
Betsy Bird is currently the Collection Development Manager of the Evanston Public Library system and a former Materials Specialist for New York Public Library. She has served on Newbery, written for Horn Book, and has done other lovely little things that she'd love to tell you about but that she's sure you'd find more interesting to hear of in person. Her opinions are her own and do not reflect those of EPL, SLJ, or any of the other acronyms you might be able to name. Follow her on Twitter: @fuseeight.

The Grand Plan to Fix Everything
We Are Not Eaten by Yaks
I’m just amused that none of these has repeated yet.

I would really love to hear what you think of it!
I’d humbly vote for The Dead Gentleman, because the author is such a swell fella. 😉
Wild Wings by Lewis – read that and had mixed thoughts on it, so would love to hear yours. Mostly I’m in awe that these are all things you’ve already read. That’s a lot of books.
I would love to see A DOG’S WAY HOME get some more attention.
The Great WAll of Lucy Wu!!!!
The Dead Gentleman!!
Dead Gentleman
With a name like love
An elephant in the garden.
Wild Wings – I had a strong reaction to Lewis’s book and am wondering about your opinion.
I should note that if you vote for more than one book I’m just going to go with the first title you mention. One vote per person per book.
Hard to pick just one, but How Lamar’s Bad Prank Won a Bubba-Sized Trophy is terrific.

How Lamar’s Bad Prank Won a Bubba-Sized Trophy
I would love to hear your review of The Dead Gentleman.
On a purely selfish note I’d love to see your review of either the Clementine book or the one and only stuey lewis. I’ve read both for the cybils and know which one I think is a better book but would be very interested in your opinion.

I’d love to see a review of How Lamar’s Bad Prank Won a Bubba-Sized Trophy.
I have no idea if the rest of the book measures up, but the first page is so funny that I’ve been hand-selling it to people at my branch on that basis alone.
