Meet the newest baby Bird.  She’s 9 pounds, 6 ounces, and sweet as can be.  I expect to have her reciting The Wheels on the Bus within the week.

Thanks to everyone for yesterday’s kind wishes!

    The excuses people will come up with to avoid reviewing books! Well–this is waaaay better than “the dog ate my homework,” “my hard drive crashed,” or “I was stuck in traffic.” Lovely! And the hair is impressive indeed. 🙂

    Congratulations! I remember that little hospital blanket from when my kids were born. Despite all the toys we gave him that little hospital blanket is still my son’s favorite bedtime cozy – he’s 6.
