I’m telling myself that I would have been the first to identify if it weren’t for the tyranny of time zones! Here in California it’s 7:30 a.m. and I instantly recognized “No More Dead Dogs” and was amused. I hope YOU’RE feeling well enough to be amused soon. 🙂

Thanks all! Looks like Shelly beat everyone to the punch.

The fever has fallen a little, though I’m still woozy. And I think I want someone now to write a book called “The Tyranny of Time Zones”. Love that.

    One of my favorites.

The Korman book, not you being sick.

    Recuperate!

Oh, no fun being sick when you can’t take anything strong because of Baby. So REST is a great idea, and here’s hoping you’ll be much better off than the dead dog. (Love that book!) Take it easy! Get lots of sleep! Don’t go out in the snow!

    Hi Fuse:

No more…oh right, about 20 people beat me to it.

I hope you feel better! I’ve a question for you. Are you going to to the ALA awards in January? If so will you be reporting them the way you did last year? If yes, where? Here on the blog? Twitter? Somewhere else?

    • Elizabeth Bird says

      December 17, 2010 at 8:39 pm

You know, I considered doing Twitter reporting but last year taught me that there is an essential flaw in the plan. Mainly, the fact that if I update Twitter more than 20 times in the span of 2 or 3 minutes, it thinks that I’m a spammer and cuts me off. So I think I may have to abandon my reporting plans and just watch them online like everyone else. I’m not going to ALA personally but I will be there in virtual spirit, you betcha.

    feel better, you poor puppy….

wanna sit on our ‘little thing’ til monday? which can be shoved back again if you’re still sicking, but I suspect you will be fiddle-like.

May have to at this point. I’m not so up with my things. But let’s talk it over and see.
