hello – would you remember a picture book about a Christmas tree, the family goes out and decorates it with edibles and animals come and eat these decorations. family goes out with hot cocoa and picnics around the tree instead of cutting it down?
That sounds a bit like The Big Snow by Berta and Elmer Hader. But I dunno. Hopefully it will ring a bell with others.
Hello. I came across your blog after reading the article “Fun, Fun, Fun” in the latest issue of SLJ. I visited your blog and loved your list: 100 Magnificent Children’s Books of 2010. I am also a children’s librarian, and would like to know if you could share some of your favorite picture books. I’m always looking to expand my collection.
Thank you.
