Bah
This tendency to blog every day grows perturbing. Last night I greatly enjoyed attending a celebration for the New York Times Best Illustrated winners of 2010. It was swell. However, when I got home I found myself disinclined to finish a recent preview that’s been breathing down my neck. With that in mind, here is just a quickie reminder of an event happening tomorrow:
Kidlit Drink Night: Brooklyn Style
Where: Sharlene’s, a nice little bar run by my friend (you guessed it) Sharlene. Located at 353 Flatbush Avenue, Brooklyn, NY.
When: 6:30ish.
What: Kidlit Drink Night – A monthly gathering of children’s literary enthusiasts to talk about children’s literature and pretty much anything else that comes to mind.
See you there! Except you, Peter Brown. Doggone you.

Betsy, we love your blog (and preview posts – ooh!), but we understand how much work it is (at least your fellow bloggers do). We appreciate it! But you feel free to use some filler whenever you want. (Note: This comment represents only my own opinion and not necessarily the opinion of other entities, like, say, SLJ, your employer…)
Elizabeth Bird says
Aw, thanks Abby. I think my agreement with SLJ was for 3 posts a week. I’m the crazy one here. I think I need to figure out good filler. What is good filler? Is it just a startling news item one can turn into a full post? Is it a video? What is the ideal filler for the average everyday blogger? A puzzler.
Jennifer Schultz says
Betsy, I enjoy your postings very much, but I understand that daily postings can often be a drain. As for filler-why not think of a question or a topic that the readers can discuss in the comments?
J. Kasten says
I’m with Jennifer’s suggestion. I can’t keep up with videos because they’re all blocked from my work computer. I read Will Unwound’s blog and love the discussion topics.
