Still a Few Bugs in the System

June 1, 2010 by Betsy Bird   7 comments

As you can see, things are a bit different around here today.  Ye olde blog has moved to a new operating system.  One that allows useful little things like Tags and spell check.  I’m still mucking around with a couple of the details.  Things like font size.  WordPress (our new system) isn’t all that keen on telling me how to make my words larger.  I find this relatively problematic. Still and all, it’s a nice little blog.  Think I’ll stick around a while.

Image of butterfly girl from the NYPL Digital Gallery.  Did you know they’ve tons of free use images there?  I’m just saying . . .

May I be the first to say: pretty! And so is your new blog format!

Aw. Thanks. I wish the fonts were a little bigger, but I do love the search capabilities and the Tag feature (which I intend to have some fun with). I just wish the URL hadn’t changed. It’s hard to inform the masses.

Well, the geriatric among us have learned that Ctrl+ enables us to blow up the type face. Still, it would be nice to be the Master of Your Domain. Good luck.

    Great!

And Anastasia Suen has changed the link on her blog roll to your new address, so the thousands of people who use her Blog Roll to read blogs (me) can easily find you.

Took me a while to find you, but can I say yippee with the tags. Now we can have all those luscious previews at our fingertips, right?

Oh, you betcha. They should be much easier to find from now on. Did you notice I’ve a search bar now? Awesomesauce.
