Video Sunday: A Low-Rent Introduction to the ALA Mid-Winter Conference

January 17, 2010 by Betsy Bird   6 comments

Howdy folks.  A quickie glance at how the library conference works during the winter months.  Basically I just made the video so that I could show the cute robot.

Remember that tomorrow at 7:45 a.m. I will be twittering the results of the Media Awards for one and all to see over at @FuseEight.  Follow me if you like, or just wait for the video of the announcements (hopefully up the same day).

I’m sorry. I’m so glad you forgot your music at home.

I loved your music! I am going to make you sing every time I see you now!

I am very excited for the Newbery, and am keeping my fingers crossed for When You Reach Me.

The background beat box is the best, Betsy. This video should have been nominated for a Golden Globe for best musical soundtrack.

Thanks for the fun intro. Wish I could be there.
