You have a chance to win a whole bunch o’ fabulous books for the lovely folks at The Class of 2K9. Forewarned is forearmed. Note this release:

The weather’s getting cooler, the leaves are falling… That means it’s time for one last giveaway before 2009 comes to an end!

Between now and Thanksgiving weekend, the Class of 2K9 will be celebrating the many wonderful librarians who’ve supported us throughout the year by offering not one, not two, but THREE sets of books:

Set 1 (a full set for public libraries — 23 titles in all):

Every single book listed here!

ALSO KNOWN AS HARPER by Ann Haywood Leal
JANE IN BLOOM by Deborah Lytton
HEART OF A SHEPHERD by Rosanne Parry

JUNGLE CROSSING by Sydney Salter
WHEN THE WHISTLE BLOWS by Fran Cannon Slayton
THE SECRETS OF THE CHEESE SYNDICATE by Donna St. Cyr
BULL RIDER by Suzanne Morgan Williams

Set 3 (all our young adult titles, for high schools — 11 titles in all):

WATERSMEET by Ellen Jensen Abbott
CRASH INTO ME by Albert Borris
MY INVENTED LIFE by Lauren Bjorkman

Who may enter: You must be a librarian currently working at a school or public library in the US.

How to enter: Send an e-mail to contests @ classof2k9.com with the words "Thanksgiving Giveaway" and the number of the set you’d like to win (please only pick one, the one you think would best fit your readers’ needs). e.g., "Thanksgiving Giveaway Set 2". In the body of the email, give the following information:
-Your name
-The name and address of the library/school where you work
-Again, which set you’re entering to win

Giveaway deadline: Enter by November 30th, so we can draw the winner while you’re still recovering from Thanksgiving dinner! 🙂

Thanks to Beverly Patt for the link!

Thank you, thank you. Now destroy this post so my competition goes away.

Too selfish? Well then may the best school win. And we all know what school that is.
