And We’re Off! Chicago Bound.

July 9, 2009 by Betsy Bird   12 comments

This week the ALA Conference in Chicago begins.  I have prepared the following video to help you know what to pack.  Or, if you wisely see this as unreliable, what NOT to pack.  Enjoy!

This was mostly a test to see whether or not I’d be able to make a video quickly on my new computer.  I can.  More to come then as I report from the conference floor.

Phew. This came just in time.

That was delightful. Does this mean bereft of us will get to see live action of the goings on from the comforts of our own monitors?

I just called your sister to see if I could stay with her. She said no. Darn.

Those sandals are SO cute! I wanted to find something like that but in the end, I’m going for plain old comfort. Except for the Newbery dinner. 🙂
