And We’re Off! Chicago Bound.
This week the ALA Conference in Chicago begins. I have prepared the following video to help you know what to pack. Or, if you wisely see this as unreliable, what NOT to pack. Enjoy!
This was mostly a test to see whether or not I’d be able to make a video quickly on my new computer. I can. More to come then as I report from the conference floor.

Phew. This came just in time.
Now I feel fully prepared to pack my 800 things in one itty bitty suitcase.
Woe is me, I am missing ALA this year and in Chicago too! I was so looking forward to seeing the Newbery Red Carpet. Guess I will have to depend on your reports!
That was delightful. Does this mean bereft of us will get to see live action of the goings on from the comforts of our own monitors?
Love this, Betsy. Looking forward to meeting you at the Blogger party.
Funny stuff! I’m looking forward to your updates.
This is great. Looking forward to more.
shoes, underwear, tats… yeah, people don’t really need any clothes while walking around chicago!
I just called your sister to see if I could stay with her. She said no. Darn.
Those sandals are SO cute! I wanted to find something like that but in the end, I’m going for plain old comfort. Except for the Newbery dinner. 🙂
