This book received The Sydney Taylor Award, the most coveted award for writers of Jewish children’s literature.
Richard Michelson is a prize-winning poet, children’s book author and a popular guest speaker. Within the past year he has given lectures and readings in India, Eastern Europe and the United States. Mr. Michelson writes for the New York Times Book Review, Publishers Weekly, and Nextbook. His childrens books have received a New Yorker Best Book Award, and a Jewish Book Council Book of the Month recognition.
Richard Michelson will be available for book signing following the discussion.
