Author/editor Jill Santopolo wrote the lovely little young reader title Alec Flint, Super Sleuth: The Nina, the Pinta and the Vanishing Treasure. And the advantage of being an author for kids is that often you get cool prizes in your cereal boxes, sent to you by clever librarians from Long Island:
You know what I love about this doll? The fact that someone took to time to sew tiny pockets onto the legs of his cargo pants. To say nothing of the sweatshirt detailing! Beautifully done.
