Kidlit Drink Night: April New York Version

April 7, 2008 by Betsy Bird   7 comments

It has been, how do you say?, too long.

Come rejoice with Cheryl Klein and myself in all things good.  All things great.  All things children’s literature-based.

What:
Kidlit Drink Night

When:
Monday, April 14th at 6:30 p.m.

Where:
Sweet & Vicious, 5 Spring Street, New York, NY

Why:
Because we haven’t had a Kidlit Drink Night in such a long time.  So come on down.  If you’ve even a tangential interest in children’s literature, stop on by.  If the weather’s nice S&V has a great patio out back where we can sit and talk.  And if it’s entirely inside, that’s fine too as there’s plenty of space.

We need a Kidlit Drink Night during the Seattle SCBWI Conference, I think. What’s with all this east coast bias?!? 😀

Oh I am SO going. If I miss this because of something stupid (like forgetting or being tired) I am going to be so mad at myself!

That’s next Monday right? Should be totally doable. And I haven’t seen some of y’all in a billion years so I’m excited!

Bookbinding class? Actually, that’s a pretty cool excuse. And there WILL be a Kidlit Drink Night in Seattle. Details are currently being formulated. (Note to self: formulate details)
