Video Sunday – Igor Edition
Some weeks you plod along and can’t seem to find any decent or worthwhile videos to yak up. Other weeks they fall out of the sky like manna. This week was squarely in the latter category.
First up, Greg Neri has just sent me his latest book trailer for Chess Rumble. For those of you interested in making your own trailers, use Greg’s here as your guide.
Now, I never really had a chance to review last year’s title One Thousand Tracings by Lita Judge, though it made the New York Public Library’s 100 Books for Reading and Sharing. Something always seems to fall through the cracks, eh? Well, recently Dave Judge wrote me that the book, "is one of the winners of the 2008 IRA Children’s Book Award. It’s also an ALSC Notable and is on the 2008 CCBC Choices" Here then is a great series of links about the book for anyone who would like to know more about it.
Librarian humor is always in style. ALWAYS, consarn it!
And finally, I don’t usually rely on cute children posts but come on! Star Wars and 3-year-olds? How can you lose? Thanks to What Adrienne Thinks About That for the following link then.
