Now, I never really had a chance to review last year’s title One Thousand Tracings by Lita Judge, though it made the New York Public Library’s 100 Books for Reading and Sharing. Something always seems to fall through the cracks, eh? Well, recently Dave Judge wrote me that the book, "is one of the winners of the 2008 IRA Children’s Book Award. It’s also an ALSC Notable and is on the 2008 CCBC Choices" Here then is a great series of links about the book for anyone who would like to know more about it.
Librarian humor is always in style. ALWAYS, consarn it!
And finally, I don’t usually rely on cute children posts but come on! Star Wars and 3-year-olds? How can you lose? Thanks to What Adrienne Thinks About That for the following link then.

Dave Judge says
Thanks Betsy. It’s very easy for a quiet book to fall through the cracks. We’ve been delighted at the slowly growing response of teachers, parents, librarians, bloggers (it was also a Cybils finalist), and kids to One Thousand Tracings.
