Kidlit Drink Night: Back to School Special
Autumn is almost here and that means having one last soft summery hurrah, Kidlit Drink Night style. Those of you who have not attended one of these evenings might want to do so (particularly if Manhattan is in your general vicinity.
Here’s the info:
When: Wednesday, September 12th. 6:30 p.m.
Where: Sweet & Vicious (Soho)
Who: Anyone who wants to come. We get a nice smattering of authors, illustrators, editors, agents, marketing types, librarians, teachers, and MLIS students. Basically, if you’ve a yen for talking about children’s literature, this is the party to attend.
Why: Uh… cause it’s awesome? Does that count?
And yes, I did actually ask Sweet & Vicious whether or not they were booked for a private party on that day. They are not. Everything is taken care of (just remember my name). Come, drink, and enjoy the company. The back patio will be open if the weather continues to be nice.
