A Paltry Showing
You always know when I’ve had a busy day. Not much time left for reporting. Only three little teensy tiny links for you today. Place them on your tongue and let them dissolve there for maximum succulence.
Step right up, step right up! Test your skill with this most DEATH defying of tasks. Tell the Harry Potter story in 100 words or less and win yourself a big big prize. Ladies and gentlemen it takes more than a steady hand to master this skill. Impressive your friends! Wow your neighbors! Shame your enemies! Thanks to Educating Alice for the link.
Shh! Speaking of Harry Potter, don’t tell anyone about any parties that might be coming up. Listen to this: "In the past few weeks, Warner’s London legal office has sent e-mails to booksellers and party organizers around the country, warning them against unauthorized celebrating, under the threat of legal action. ‘[Your event] appears to fall outside our guidelines,’ said one e-mail. ‘Therefore, HARRY POTTER cannot be used as a theme for your event.’." Somebody go rustle up all the "inappropriate non-family-friendly" complaints you’ve heard over the years and send them to me immediately. Otherwise I think we can categorize this subject under the title "Pure Undiluted Evil". Thanks to ShelfTalker for the link.
Fun Fact of the Day: The Island on Bird Street was turned into a film in 1997. I was looking up info on the book and stumbled on info regarding the film. Might be worth looking at. Oh, Netflix…..
