Video Sunday – ALA Edition
Whilst I flit about like a hummingbird on Jolt cola here in monumentally moist Washington D.C., you lucky lous get to sit at home watching YouTube videos. How I envy you. But I’m not bitter. Just to take you to where I am, here’s the looney Drill Cart videos that convinced me that I need to do this next year. I’m holding you to your interest, Queens librarians! This first one is poorly shot and reportedly includes JonScieszka and Mo Willems. Then again, they could just as easily be Mother Theresa and Gallagher. We just don’t know. It’s a darn foggy vid.
Much better film quality on this one.
Oh yeah. We can take these guys.
And for those of you looking for something a little less librarianish (can’t imagine why you would) here’s a video preview for the staged production of The Wolves in the Walls.

I’ll have more for you next week, I promise.

The Wolves in the Walls looks so terribly cool. I must figure out how to see it.
Hope you’re having an excellent time in D.C.

You looked great in your red dress! You must feel great that ALA is almost over and your hardest work is done.
I hope someone was taping this year’s book cart event — I missed it because of a reception at Martin Luther King Jr Library, but can’t wait to see what the team in the sparkles and tiaras did to win the gold. Do you think you can find this year’s videos?
