Your love and constant praise of the Percy Jackson books has really made me want to read them in the worst way. I already had a hankering but you’ve fueled the fire. Maybe it can be my third vacation read. Now if I can just get my hands on a copy if #1.

Well, they are fun. But bear in mind that for all that they elicit Harry Potter-like love in their fanbase, they’re not quite at the same level. Enjoyable? Certainly. But their depth doesn’t really compare.
